Naruto laughed.

"Oh.. nothing really" he grinned.

"Nope Sakura-chan I can't tell.. and you won't make me unless.."

"Unless.." Naruto blushed a bit smirking.

Naruto still blushed.

"You know what I'm talking about right Sakura-chan?"

Naruto still blushed and looked at you.

"Well yea.."

Naruto looked down a bit.

"Oh it' ok."

Naruto nodded.

"What with kissing me?"

Naruto nodded.

"Oh.. ok then."

((WHAT?!! aww.. O.o)

"Hn..." Sasuke smirked and began walking. "So...what were you doing all the way out here beforehand, Sakura?"

Gray clouds sauntered over the Earth, threatening to pour down its mournful tears to the awaiting Earth below, to drown it in its misery. A light breeze passed through the atmosphere, the only noise audible in the deathly silence of the world. The sky seemed like it was preparing to burst, to send down its rain, but no, it planned on surprising the planet, the ground would have to be patient. The Earth was engulfed in stillness, waiting for the sky; knowing it was going to come soon, the water would drizzle down soon enough.

Uchiha Sasuke strolled along in the open fields, the soft wind hitting him gently, causing his obsidian bangs to brush against his face of magnificent ivory. Sasuke was good on the eyes, with a muscular, yet skinny and near lithe, form that most craved for. Everyone throughout his life had wanted him; in one way or the other... yet no one was ever lucky enough to get close enough to him. Sasuke hated human contact, physically and mentally.

The heir of the Uchiha clan was wearing a full black outfit, an open shirt with no sleeves protruding onto his arms, though you didn't see halfway up his chest but bandages. On his arms were bandages as well, making it obvious that he had been in battle not long before. Surprisingly, the wounds were well healed, and were only concealed underneath the cloth to resist infection that might be stirring in the air.

I know I'm like a machine,
But I still have dreams.

There was no life to the boy, though, despite his strikingly gorgeous looks. His charcoal hues were beautiful, yet there was nothing but vacancy, as if he had black glass where his eyes should be. There was a time when joy, amusement, and bliss enveloped those dark eyes, making them seem human, but now they were empty, like a glass of water drained of everything inside of them.

Corruption. The one thing that had caused this torment, this dramatic change in Sasuke's attitude, personality, and appearance. Exploitation. His brother's heinous deeds, his sins that ruined Sasuke permanently for all time. The eternal wounds Uchiha Itachi embedded into his skin, into his heart, forever changed him, slowly turning him into a ghost, a spirit he didn't even realize he was turning into. Unintentional atrocity, unintended miscreation. The curse mark, the Sharingan, the blood and lies of the Uchiha clan..

It had eventually led to Sasuke's ruin.

Come over, come over.
I won't make the same mistakes.
I'm dying not to hurt you.

The clouds made a low rumbling noise, warning of thunder that would result from lightning that would arise later on, but the sound named mellifluous to Sasuke. Knowing that he was not the only one defected, though the imperfection never corroborated to humankind. His flaws were kept completely clandestine, never to be unconfined to the world. To mortality, and all that existed.. he was seamless, just what the doctor ordered.

The world seemed to stop at his every move. He walked soundlessly, nearly translucent in his state of being.

Like a ghost.

As he ventured in the grass, the luxuriant blades became meager, and then became completely roofed by concrete. The soles of his feet tapped lightly on the pavement, the only audible reverberation perceived from the Uchiha. His obscure hues stared down at the durable surface underneath his feet. Eyes scanned the firm shell.

He staring at the asphalt wondering what's buried underneath.. A negligible exhale exceeded his lips, releasing to the air around him. Only someone with incredible earshot range would be able to hear it. Sasuke was sure no one was about, anyway; desolate eyes transcended their gaze upwards to reassure him.

I've known you in every life I've lived.
I'm still a kid, even though I'm colder.

In entirety, it was a haze initially, but his eyes proceeded to converge with his contiguous environment. Nonentity swathed the region. Overestimating his senses at the present time, he concluded that not a soul was nearby; he assumed he was solitary for the while.

Immediately when his vision redistributed their position to his path, he realized the nearly absent feeling of another presence was, indeed, factual. His austere expression remained aloof, his being bleak and unwelcoming. If not for his good locks, and the overwhelming clandestine aura radiating off of him, secrets that most craved to expose, then he would have nothing going for him; in social matters, anyway. As his lips parted, preparing to speak to the other...

The rain began to pour down, drenching the Earth in its ethereal sobs.

In our dreams, we can be complete.
If we go to sleep,
We can wake up home again...

"Hah..so am I." Naruto replied, his eyes shimmering with happieness at the reminesce of his friend.
"What have you been up to?"

((OOC: yeah, I think so.))

"I was just heading--" Sasuke closed his mouth. He wanted to say he was heading there too, but he wouldn't be welcomed back in Konoha.

Not after what he did.

"I was just heading the same way..." he said softly, hoping she wouldn't say anything.

He didn't know why. It was like he was on autopilot, like he still lived there.

Like he still belonged.

Sasuke paused, looking at the fuchsia-haired female; a few memories lingered in his mind, but he pushed them to the back of his mind. They didn't matter now; what mattered was his ambition, the vengeance he craved for.

"Sakura," he replied, holding back a sigh. "What are you doing here?" Of course, he realized, he probably was the one not supposed to be here.

Naruto smiled.

"Alright then.. what to do now.."

Naruto grinned.

"Oh yea Sakura chan go for it.."

(When is it again?)

Sasuke stared at her, wide eyed.

"Are you sure...I mean...I wouldn't be..."

This was new, him asking something of Sakura. The raven made a mental note never to do this again.

"I just had to get away...and this was..." he began, and then stopped again, as if that fragment of a sentence explained things.

"Ne? You're still running errands for Baachan?" Naruto exclaimed, his tone matching one of surprise. Smirking lightly, he extended his hand out toward the other.
"Ahh come on! Let's have some fun Sakura-chan!"

"I know..." the raven said softly. Then he shook his head.

"Its not my place anymore. Even after all these years."

Most probably wouldn't remember him. And if they did, they'd hate him. Fo leaving behind everything to go to the darkest, twisted ninja ever known.

He was a traitor.

Still, Sasuke wondered what it would be like to be back. He was always stirring up trouble.

Naruto laughed.

"it's Ok Sakura-chan.. why don't you choose a dare then?"

Sasuke gave a harsh little laugh at this. He was back to his old self, impassive and no emotion.

"Naruto? Do you honestly think I care about that loser anymore?" he said, for a moment going back to the old days and using his old nickname for Naruto.

"He's of no importance to me anymore."

The raven said this as confidently as he could, but deep inside he knew it wasn't true. The blond had been his best friend, whether he knew it or not.

But still. He had to have that power...and push aside all his  feelings for the Leaf Village and its people.

And that included Naruto as well.
